The Respite Unit is a program of YMCA Childcare Resource Service.
We serve infants, children, youth, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in San Diego.
RESPITE PROVIDER SPOTLIGHT
Alejandra has been a respite care provider for 17 years. She does many activities with the kids from drawing to helping them with every day tasks like folding clothes. Also, Alejandra enjoys the trainings and events offered by the YMCA team. The opportunities give her ideas and a network of other providers to connect with.
